MIAMI HEAT KILLED BY KARMA

BY Scary Barry Rodriguez             June 14,2011

( SAN FRANCISCO ) - Now that the dust has settled the Scary one can reflect on the Dallas Maverick's victory over the Miami Heat this last Saturday. Dwayne Wade,

LeBron James and Chris Bosh set themselves up for a fall before the NBA season began by prematurely celebrating their success. Its part of today's culture to posture and trash talk. Now they look stupid and immature.

If Dwayne Wade thought bringing in James was adding a closer to the team he must be greatly disappointed. LeBron did his ESPN highlight thing early and then was MIA in the fourth quarter of every game. Right now its safe to say that he can't carry Michael Jordon's shoes ! The Heat reminded me  of some of the super rock groups in the past like the Cream , that had brilliant players but didn't last long. James was the whole show in Cleveland but choked in the clutch.

The Mavericks completely crossed up Miami with their zone defense. With their coach along as just a chaperone, Wade, James and Bosh couldn't make an adjustment and make use of their talent. In every game, the Heat came out of the gate like world beaters, hitting highlight shots, dunking and dazzling the crowd. Then something mysterious happened and the Mavericks would close the gap. The television camera would pan over to the faces of the Heat basketball icons and they all had that deflated look!

The media turned the finals into some kind of ridiculous soap opera, over analyzing everything that was or wasn't said by the players of both teams. Kudos to Dirk Nowitzki , Jason Terry, Jason Kidd and the all the Mavericks. It wasn't pretty but it was effective. The big three of Miami , Wade, James and Bosh, aquitted themselves well at the post game press conference. They looked good in suits and obviously attended " How To Do A Press Conference 1A ". So they have next year to try again to live up to the hype !
