Just like the NFL , the WWE drunk with own success has become complete drag ! The Scary one being an old guy has faithfully watched professional wrestling from his time as a wee lad up until now ! From Moon dog Maine to Pat Patterson. From the Four Horsemen to the Shield. Until recently myself and my partner in crime Merlin, just kicked back with snacks and watched WWE programming confident that we would be entertained.

When there was the competition in the form of the WCW , Vince McMahon and his group were compelled to put out a good product. Now this product has become watered down talent wise to the extent that it is no longer entertaining ! If one goes to the website listing WWE management you can read about how Paul Levesque AKA Triple H is the creative person behind what goes on the air " he works to shape the creative direction ". He worked " The Authority " story line until it was a complete turn off. Every show he and Stephanie bored everyone ! Was this creative ?

The last charismatic wrestler with serious mike skills was CM Punk. When he split there was no one else that actually was the total package. Before you had the Rock, Shawn Michaels , Stone Cold Steve Austin. Who can talk now ? The audience already knows all the moves so what holds the attention is the story line , executed by talent with mike skills to provide the hype. What good are heels and baby faces who can't talk ? What happened to the writers ? Have their creative juices gone MIA ? Why not train the new guys to talk.

The last compelling group was the Shield. Daniel Bryant had the mojo but he was injured. John Cena is a good guy but his chops are boring. The only thing keeping the WWE alive is the former members of the Shield. In an attempt to perform CPR on the failing product Chris Jericho was brought back ! His gimmicks are dated ! Then there is the involvement of Rick Flair way past his expiration date. His daughter Charlotte is a good villain except she has the mike chops of a stone !

The WWE just like the NFL is clueless ! Here comes the WWE network and lots of sub par programming ! With the watered down talent on the roster how can anyone get excited about the pay for view events. Eventually the WWE will kill the golden goose ! The WWE network only has one good thing going for it ,the archives ! At least fans get to watch stuff from a time when the talent had mike skills and charisma. Now some genius split the already stretched out roster into two separate entities , Monday Night Raw and Tuesday Smack down. Add to this the creation of two separate sets of Championships plus the bogus Universal Championship ! Even having Mick Foley and Daniel Bryant on board can't save this mess from disaster.

Lest I forget there is the big new flavor , the cruiserweight division , allowing fans to watch 180 pound guys do the same moves that the big guys already do but only a little faster. It all gets back to the need for charisma , mike talent , good writing and good story lines. Don't any of the writers or management pay attention to whats happening out in the real world and get ideas ?

Some of the new talent has merit . Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks have the mojo ! The dude Finn Balor don't have it ! This skinny guy beat Roman Reigns and audience is supposed to buy it ! A dorky 180 pound guy ! I'm old and feel good about my chances of kicking his lame butt ! Plus the guys story line was bad goth nonsense ! Bray Wyatt has too much mike time and can't carry the " Deliverance " story line , even if he dresses the part . AJ styles , Kevin Owens , Sammy Zane, these guys get over. Part time Brock Lesner should just stay in " Suplex City " !

The Scary one has some constructive suggestions .

1. Train the talent to talk , mike skills . If they can't cut it show them the door.

2. Fire the writing staff because they don't got the chops .

3. Don't put Stephanie on camera and give Triple H a job that doesn't involve being creative.

4. Forget the cruiserweight gimmick it doesn't add to the product.

5. Can the Miz and Chris Jericho, they are on life support !

6. Put Shane McMahon in the spotlight for all the on the air product. He has energy and the fans dig his stick !

7. Vince has still got the mojo , so random appearances would be good. He is good at projecting that arrogant " Trump " type vibe that is irritating but entertaining !
